THE PASTORS

Our Pastors

Reverend Guy Molock, Jr., J.D and Reverend Dr. Sherry Molock, Ph. D are the co-equal founding pastors of the Beloved Community Church, United Church of Christ, founded in 2008. Their ministry focuses on “family healing” that is designed to bring spiritual, physical and emotional healing to the community, and social justice, believing that social justice and the Gospel of Jesus Christ are one in the same.  The Molocks have taught and preached together at churches around the nation and feel especially blessed to be called by God to facilitate married couple’s retreats. The Molocks have been happily married since 1986; and from this union, they have been blessed with three lovely children who they affectionately refer to as the “Molock Jewels”: Amber, Jelani, and Diarra, and two grandchildren, Makayla and Oliyah.  Their favorite scripture is Romans 8: 38-39: For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things yet to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus.
